"THE MIDAS TOUCH"
Here we have a dead and boring forest...
But here comes King Midas!
...and he has touched the trees and turned them to gold.
Enthralled by his new power, he runs through the forest, transforming everything.
But when almost everything is turned to gold, Midas is sad. Even though it's beautiful, it can never be as real as the actual forest. Even though it was dead, it was real--it followed a real life cycle, and was beautiful even in its decrepit nature.
Disheartened, Midas leaves the forest.
